Perhaps not so mysteriously, in every battle Wilhelm participated in there were 100% casualties on both sides. But his joining the Stormcloaks was all a ploy he did it because he believed if the Stormcloaks won the Civil War, both the Empire and Skyrim would be weakened so that the Thalmor could conquer both. He joined the Stormcloaks in Skyrim's Civil War, surprisingly given his hatred for Nords and their Talos worship. Wilhelm was weak and awkward at the start, many of his murders ending badly with him in prison, but over time his power grew, and he came to bring famine and death upon the land of Skyrim. Later in the game whenever Wilhelm does fight a dragon it's because he wants to be Alduin's top minion, and he's thinning out the competition. He eventually found himself arrested by the Imperials, and just as he was about to be beheaded at Helgen, Alduin appeared and spared his life in exchange for Wilhelm's undying loyalty. Despite being rejected by the Thalmor he continued to hold their beliefs, such as Elven supremacy and that Talos worship is heresy. They issued a warrant for his arrest, leaving him to go on the run from them in Skyrim. Wilhelm (pronounced "Vill-helm"), a High Elf, was a Thalmor interrogator who was fired for killing too many torture victims before getting information out of them. Keep in mind this will make a lot more sense if you've played the game. So here's a character profile for Wilhelm, who appears in the picture above burning a statue of Talos. I like creating characters and stories for my games, and having them stay in character and only make choices that character would make. I mean none of my other characters would, say, join a group of assassins called the Dark Brotherhood, or become the king of the vampires, so I had to experience those questlines somehow. I had one completely good character, one mostly good character and one anti-hero, so this time I wanted to create a villainous character who goes on murderous rampages, lol.
The other three are characters who will appear in my original novels, but this one is more or less a Skyrim OC.
I've been hooked on the game Skyrim for over a year and a half now, having played through as four different characters.
